WENDY CHAN is the founder and president of Definity Marketing. Her firm, established in 2004, is the go-to place for businesses seeking smart solutions, guidance or help with identifying best business or marketing opportunities. She is a respected expert in Asian food, with both breadth and depth of knowledge encompassing manufacturing, distribution, marketing and promotion.
Co-author of New Asian Cuisine (IFWTWA, 2006) a compilation of recipes from over 100 celebrity chefs based on the New Food Pyramid, Ms. Chan is passionate about food, cooking, gardening vegetables and travel. She is a tireless promoter of all Asian food in America, professionally and personally. She is eager to educate home cooks, aspiring chefs and culinary professionals interested to learn more about Asian food and culture. Ms. Chan also advocates sustainability, organic farming, eating local, and the importance in becoming food-savvy.
Her career started in advertising with leading international agencies in Hong Kong, and continued in America, subsequently joining a leading corporate American company as a senior marketing executive. She co-founded a full-service marketing firm in New York before she focused on consulting. Her clients include a range of established and emerging brands and governmental trade promotional boards, as well as non-profit organizations.
